Where people are standing up for democracy, economic fairness, and accountability—here’s one thing to remember:

The rally is not the end. It’s the spark.

Showing up is powerful. Real change comes from joining together to show numbers and support. Lasting change comes from what we do next.

If you're headed to a rally today, make your voice go further than the crowd.

1. Bring a friend who’s never been to one. Momentum builds person to person. Someone you know might be unsure or on the fence. Invite them. Show them this moment matters—and that they matter in it.

2. Check Your Voter Registration—Then Help Someone Else Check Theirs! Montana now has a long history of making voting harder, not easier. Don’t assume you’re all set. Check registertovote.mt.gov

3. Decide what you’re going to do with the energy. Who will you talk to about this afterward? What’s one race, cause, or issue you'll follow up on this week? Where will you show up next?

4. Plug into a local group before you arrive. Find an organizing group, candidate, or community project in your area. Follow them. Message them. Connect with them at the really. Ask, “What do you need help with?”

5. Plan Your follow-up before the speakers start. Find an issue you care about and commit to showing up for it. Host a backyard debrief. Write about what moved you and share it. If you live in a safer district, volunteer in places with less resources.

History doesn’t change at the mic. It changes when regular people take the energy home and keep building.

Even five new connections today can spark something lasting.

So go. Show up. Be loud. Then go further. This is just the beginning.
