While retirees, farmers and ranchers laid awake at night wondering what was going to happen with the Farm Bill, Montana’s Republican Congressional delegation drew paychecks and said nothing.
We deserve better.
Due to partisan gridlock and unwillingness to negotiate, a widely-supported, bipartisan Farm Bill failed and Congress missed an opportunity to do right by farmers, ranchers, forest landowners, rural communities, hunters and anglers.
The deadline for a comprehensive Farm Bill now begins again, counting down to September 2025. The Continuing Resolution passed by Congress in December 2024 may provide billions in disaster relief and economic assistance but without a long-term plan, it's tough for Montana's farmers and ranchers to map out their financial futures.
Montana deserves representatives who will fight for our values, not remain silent while critical deadlines pass. We can’t wait for leadership that lets us down again. The next Farm Bill deadline is September 2025. We need to act now.
I'm on the ground in Montana, hearing the concerns of agricultural communities and Montanans across the state. I'm committed to taking the Montanans' concerns to Washington and working to get important legislation passed.
Running a people-powered movement takes resources. Every dollar you give helps us fight for Montana’s future by funding grassroots organizing, outreach, and bold advocacy. Donate $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can today to ensure Montana's voice is strong in Washington. Together, we can bring real representation back to our state.
