As we gather with loved ones, let us take a moment to honor the rich cultures, histories, and ongoing contributions of Tribal Nations across Montana. Their resilience and strength in the face of centuries of injustice inspire us to work toward a more equitable and inclusive future.
Next week, our team is going to Washington, D.C. to lobby for H.R. 7227, The Truth and Healing Commission Bill of the Federal Indian Boarding School Program Act. This legislation will help families finally bring their loved ones home with ceremony and honor.
